PositiveThe facility is small and they provide very good care as opposed to the larger facilities that seem understaffed. Don't go by appearance only. Check the level of care. I would rather have my mom in an Assisted Living with excellent care than a new, pretty facility with subpar care.

PositiveThe only thing I didn't like is that your company charges 1 month fees. I knew [name removed] would not live 3 months so really they did not get their money's worth. If a client is only there less than 3 months, then reimburse some of that 1st payment . I did not know that facility existed , so because of you I found it. PositiveWe were very thankful to have found Emerald Gardens for my Dad. He had late stage Parkinsons. After a few years at a larger more active ALF, his mobility had declined to where he needed more private care. Emerald is small, under 20 residents, and a permanent nursing staff. So he got more attention and care that he needed in his last year, with caretakers who got to know him and could attend to his needs as they increased.
