Emory Ridge

Emory Ridge is a very nice and presents a resident friendly environment. The facilities were clean and well-maintained. The apartments are roomy and spacious. Many activities are available for the residents. I was provided a tour of the entire facility. Emory Ridge is a perfect fit and one I am considering for my Mom.

Disappointed

Our family had a very disappointing experience with this facility. During my father’s stay, I found him more than once lying in bed in urine around midday, which raised serious concerns about the quality of care. When behavioral issues arose, we were told the facility did not specialize in dementia medications and needed to be referred out. Emory Ridge review

For the most part staff has been great, like most places that care for people they are understaffed. It's not their fault and they do their best. The place is clean, no complaints about the food from my brother and they have plenty of activities and take trips at least two or three times a month.

Safe and secure

The staff are professional and caring. The only issues we've had have been with the losing of glasses and not always being in his own clothes. (I know these things are to be expected, but they are the only reasons for not giving a 5.0).

Very clean facility with updated decor and many opportunities for activities and engagement regarding lifelong hobbies and interests.

Caring Facility

There is always room for improvement, but we were happy with the care. My sister passed away 13 months ago I would visit her about twice a a week Every time I went there she was always out in the common area with other people and the staff. She always had clean clothes They tried to involve her but the Alzheimer's had taken its toll on her I was grateful to know she was safe fed and nice place to sleep not much else they could do .
