Make sure that a thorough needs evaluation plan is done before deciding to go. I know it's been ramped up to an AL status since last year but it's still critical that the condition, of the resident is appropriately matched before entry. You also need to know what your parent can realistically handle and weigh that carefully in the decision. Esplanade at Palisades review

The building was very clean, well decorated and had a positive aura. The staff was very receptive and sensitive in gene. Bowing, my mother could have used more personal social support in the evenings. After meals there wasn't enough for her to do and she felt isolated. Also, her room wasn't attended to properly but in general she needed more physical and emotional support than they were designed to handle.

Esplanade at Palisades is an excellent place, and the staff are wonderful. We would definitely recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far. She loves it at the Esplanade!! We are very happy w the Esplanade at Palisades. The staff is so well trained, patient and kind. And the facility is well maintained and comfortable.

Welcoming staff!

The staff members there are wonderful, and they have started to open back up the activities which our loved one is extremely happy about. They have excellent mental health professionals which was very important to us. It is also a smaller community so they know our family very well and our loved one. They have been doing the best during this past year, and it is in a very convenient location for our family.

My husband stayed at the Esplanade and received wonderful care. The staf are fantastic.
