Overall the experience has been very positive. Room is of good size with fresh paint and new furniture. Food isn't gourmet of course but my mother in law likes it fine. Facility is clean with lots of activities. Staff is attentive and helpful. Really- no complaints.

A good, safe community

Opportunities for worship of different religions. Opportunities for outings to restaurants and stores. Yes, we would recommend the community to other families base don the experience so far.

Think twice about this place

The place was horrible. They did no physical care of my mother Me and my sister did all of my Mother's care. They need to take care of the residents and drop the [removed] attitude.

Not as Advertised

Where do I start? Between a lack of overall cleanliness, loss of medical records, failure to provide timely physical therapy, etc. Unfortunately, we are stuck here for now. Luckily, my Mom has the nicest room in the place. It better be for $[removed] a month. Oh and the food is pretty bad, too.

The Promenade at Chestnut Ridge has been wonderful, it is a complete night and day experience then our loved ones previous community. They have really saved our mothers life. Our loved one is happy here and well cared for which is the most important thing. If we need to set up a doctors appointment or have a doctor come and visit they set it up. She has her own private room with a lot of activities to do. It is the best thing to happen to her. The staff members are ust wonderful they are always so kind when we come…

We had the best time visiting at The Esplanade. We look forward to visiting again. The staff is always so welcoming - and Fun!
