★★★★★
PositiveI am a healthcare professional working in senior living in the Eugene Springfield area, and Evergreen is my top choice of memory care facilities for my residents needing this level of care. The facility is clean and well-maintained, the residents seem happy, the activities are engaging, and the care staff seem to truly care about their residents. If I personally had a loved one needing memory care, this is the facility I would choose.
★★★★★
PositiveThis facility was the best by far of all that I toured. The activities are designed for mind stimulation the exercises build the body in a fun way....the caregivers are very attentive and kind. The personnel are very helpful for the needs and how to attain them. Also very patient with the many questions. The rooms are large in comparison to other facilities and overall the atmosphere there is awesome. The food is yummy.
★★★★★
PositiveI highly recommend Evergreen Memory Care for your loved one. The floor staff, med-techs and activity director gave consistent care and personal attention to our brother’s needs. They took time to relate to him and understand who he was. Administrators worked with us to create a living environment that our brother could cope with. Evergreen patiently helped us understand how to navigate the new world of dementia for a loved one. It takes time to trust that a care facility will do the best thing for your family membe…

CriticalThere some definite gems in the facility, but we've had issues with communication between med-techs and the staff nurse. Conflicting calls as to the state of my mom's condition. They have repeatedly not called the primary or secondary contact at all. This was during an emergency situation. My biggest concern is inconsistent medical care.
★★★★★
PositiveThe only comment I would make is that it was sometimes, not always, it can be difficult to communicate with the proper staff to get my questions answered. I would recommend Evergreen Memory Care to other families.
★★★★★
PositiveI really like the positive atmosphere that I walk into at the Brookdale Eugene. The staff is all very accommodating and friendly. The only thing that concerns me a little bit is that they are short staffed. It's nothing terrible, but it is something I hope gets fixed soon. Other than that, the place is clean for the most part, and my loved one is being well taken care of.
