We moved my mother into Fairborn Assisted Living in June & were deeply disappointed. The facility lacks professionalism & empathy. There are no nurses after 5 PM, so if your loved one needs medication at night, they’re out of luck. We had to put signs in her room to remind staff to help her out of her wheelchair. Often, they left her stranded for hours, even after pressing the call button. Exceeded Expectations -- Very Pleased!

After a harrowing couple of years for my ill mother who passed July '23, my dad's safety, health, and quality of life took a sharp decline over the span of 8 months. He lost his wife of 54 years, and lost the desire to do anything including eating, good hygiene, and taking critical medications. He agreed to look into assisted living facilities and we wanted one that would be attentive, kind, and clean. Room for improvement

My mom loves her apartment, the food is another story! They are low on help a lot, but all in all my mom likes it. We have had problems with them answering the phone, and doing her laundry, but she likes it and doesn't want to move. I like the separation of rooms in their apartment, I like that they have family night, the residents are very sweet there.

Nice atmosphere but lacks help

It has a lovely atmosphere and the staff is friendly, but I felt stretched thin. Response to calls for help were longer than I would have thought. Granted there are other residents and not every call can be met immediately. However if staffing was adequate the response time would be better. Review for Wickshire Fairborn

The experience was good. They took good care of her. My loved one was only there for a short period of time, then passed away. We picked this community because, they had a smaller memory care unit, which was a big selling point. I would recommend to others.

We toured with Wickshire Fairborn and it was too costly and looked a little depressing inside even though it is a better equipped facility than that of [facility name removed].
