PositiveI needed to a find a place for my 95 year old mother. The facility she was in was unable to accommodate her. When I first walked in, there was a beautiful fire in the fireplace. The residents were gathered around and the activities director was engaging them. They seem to be having so much fun. As we walked around the facility, I was thrilled to see different amenities such as a movie theater, a small restaurant style room where people could gather and a hair salon. The cafeteria looked wonderful as well. The price…

PositiveWhat we like the most about the community is that it is a very pretty community and most importantly is the staff is wonderful, very helpful, friendly, and keeps me relatively calm during my aunt's stressful move.
★★★★★
PositiveWe chose the Grand Victorian because the facility was beautiful and the resident rooms were bright and airy. Some of the common areas like the cafe could use a little more attention but overall the physical space was uplifting. The residents themselves were very friendly and accepting of a new face. My mother-in-law, [name removed] was given a diagnosis of Lewy Body Dementia shortly after arriving and went downhill rapidly. This is where the staff really began to shine. The nursing administrator, [name removed] has…

PositiveStaff have all been very helpful. The food is not appealing to the residents. They might need a new chef. There needs to be an activity director that gets people excited about the activities so they would want to participate.

PositiveWhen you walk through the front door for the first time, you will notice this is not like most other facilities. The friendly staff is exceptionally caring, kind, and loving to the residents. The Grand Victorian experience just seems to attract nice people like that. The residents are friendly toward each other and they enjoy being together. They involve themselves in the many activities that are specially planned for them. Food service is always an important consideration and at Grand Victorian, you will never be …

PositiveGreat value. Nice and clean conditions and warm friendly staff. We’re glad we found it for our father . He is settling in well. The home is very responsive when we have questions. They genuinely care for the residents and encourage participation in events without pressure.
