The place was very nice and clean. Superior shower stalls with no step ins. Friendly staff. Very helpful. If I were to pick a place in Peoria, this is the place I would pick.

The staff is very friendly. The rooms are nice but some of the carpet in the hallways are stained. Great activities and I have eaten lunch with my mom and the food is good. They just hired a new chef so we'll see if there's an improvement. Overall they have a great menu.

Not What We Expected For Memory Care

Room size was nice. Staff seemed nice, but not very helpful. They totally oversold what they were going to do to help my loved one with ADLs. He became very anxious and agitated from lack of assistance. Staff would sign off on showers when he didn't get showered. They don't even help with morning clean up routines. No shaving, combing hair, or brushing teeth. They really expect the resident to be pretty independent. The food was good but they don't monitor intake and my dad was determined to be malnourished upon ad…

We would give Heartis 5 stars. Staff and nurses are friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend looking into Heartis especially for family diagnosed with cognitive decline. Heartis supports their independent living, levels of care and then when necessary the transition to memory care.

Nice place. Individual rooms. Priced fairly. Will not necessarily take yo end of life. Will kick you out if you end up on Medicaid.

From our initial contact to admissions HEARTIS staff have been caring and kind. Brandon their director has been accommodating and a trusted resource as we navigated care for our loved one. We've only had my mother in law there for 30 days but so far everything has gone well.
