Hemsley House exceeded my expectations with the personal care and attention that the staff provides for my dad.

It was a very nice place and conveniently located, but we were looking for some place with moore physical therapy time.

The staff is always very helpful and friendly and I especially am pleased with the care and dignity that they always display to the residents.

They evaluated my Dad as appropriate for assisted living. We were fine with the assisted living environment there. After 2 weeks, they told us he belonged in their memory care unit. And that was probably the correct place for him. But I didn't like the memory care unit there and I felt and still feel that it was a clear case of bait and switch. I had heard and they even told me that they were trying to fill the memory care floor and had been having a difficult time placing people there. I still have a bad taste fro…

Brief but pleasant experience at Sunrise USC

Great area, easy for grocery shopping or shopping in general, many things to do around the location. Nice and accommodating staff. Parking can be difficult

Friendly staff, good activities, but short handed.

They were understaffed. But that seemed to be the same at many facilities we visited. The staff was pleasant and helpful. There was just not enough of them. The food staff seemed especially short handed. The facility seemed to have different group activities every afternoon, happy hour, sing alongs, ice cream socials, etc. The residents seemed to enjoy those.
