Heritage Assisted Living offers a close knit community to call home in Knoxville, Tennessee. This one-story home is in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The archway over the front door and covered front porch will invite you into the community. You’ll be close to several attractions in Knoxville, including the Knoxville Museum of Art and McClung Museum of Natural History and Culture. The local senior center is less than 10 minutes away, and you’ll also be close to shopping centers and restaurants. Community Details This community encourages you to become active in the community and offers scheduled activities and social events for you to partake in. There are a limited number of community members, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to get to know your neighbors. The staff wants to make life easier for you, so they’re happy to provide transportation for when you want to go to the doctor. The on-site beauty shop is another convenient opportunity and will keep you looking your best. You’ll enjoy three nutritious meals every day, plus snacks and beverages. You won’t have to worry about cleaning or household chores anymore ー staff provide weekly housekeeping and laundry services. You’ll have access to caregivers any time of the day or night. They’ll help you with things like bathing, grooming, and dressing. They can also help with medication management, and arrange for you to receive physical, occupational, and speech therapy should you ever need it. Living Arrangements Heritage Assisted Living has a total of 24 suites available. You’re encouraged to bring your favorite furniture and pictures, so that you can make the space your own. Each room also has blinds for privacy. State Classification Heritage Assisted Living is an assisted care living facility (ACLF) , which in the state of Tennessee is a facility that provides assistance with non-medical activities of daily living, administration of typically self-administered medications, and medical services subject to the limitations of these rules to residents. An assisted care living facility may provide care to residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s. Poor Management: Cold Food & Not Cleaned as Promised

My 94 yr old neighbor recently moved here. Her mind is sharp and her body is well. Her husband recently died so she wanted a new place to live where she didn’t have to cook or clean. She also wanted friends to talk to. She’s been highly disappointed living here. The meals are not served hot and the food quality is poor. They often serve hot dogs for dinner. 3/4 of the residence have dementia so of course they never complained and are trapped in this place. Thankfully, she has a refrigerator in her room and can put…

Heritage Assisted Living review

Overall it has been a very positive experience for my Mom at Heritage Assisted Living Fountain City. The facility is reasonably clean and the staff is very friendly. I believe the care has and continues to be as well as could be received in any assisted living facility. The meals are provided family style and the facility is a great value for the cost. It is a much needed place that is at least less expensive than others but it lacks a lot bc of that. It helped us tremendously in that way but the care was not as good as I really would have wanted but we couldn't ask for much with what we were paying and my dad was actually in the last few months of his life so we needed a place.
