Situated on 23 acres of beautiful, lush Florida land in Vero Beach is the Florida Baptist Retirement Center. We are an assisted living community that also provides independent living and skilled nursing accommodations. As part of the Florida Baptist State Convention, we proudly serve the community through our work and lead with core Christian principles. Community Amenities and Services We offer a complete continuum of care and staff members are available around the clock to provide personal, non-medical services. Our services address various needs, including memory, diabetic, and ambulatory care, among others. Caregivers are available to assist with daily activities, transportation to various appointments and activities, medication management, and more. For residents in need of more advanced care, nurses, physicians and other specialists are available on-site or through coordinated visits. We recognize the tremendous value in nurturing a happy, fulfilling environment through community engagement. Our staff coordinates a variety of events and activities to meet the unique wants and needs of residents. Scheduled day trips, arts and crafts, and group exercise classes are among some of the residents’ favorites. As part of our mission to incorporate the spirit of Christian love and compassion, devotional services and activities are held frequently. With housekeeping and laundry services provided, residents can stress less and focus on the experiences that bring them joy. Living Arrangements Our campus is home to 42 independent living units, 24 room congregate living units, a 17-bed assisted living facility, and a 24-bed skilled nursing and rehab facility. We offer semi-private rooms to skilled nursing residents and one-bedroom arrangements for assisted living residents. Residents that select congregate arrangements can choose between a studio or two bedroom apartment, and independent living residents have the option of a two-bedroom villa or one bedroom cottage. No matter which floor plan you select, you’re sure to feel right at home in our darling, spacious accommodations. Care Types Offered Florida Baptist Retirement Center is an assisted living facility , which in the state of Florida is a facility that provides supervision of the activities of daily living, medications, and other similar services to residents in a homelike environment. These facilities can house one resident to hundreds of residents.
