The care taker staff was very caring and hands on. They talked to the residents respectfully and seemed to really care. I would give them a 4 out of 5. The only thing I wished they had done more of was give her exercise walking with her walker. She got weaker and weaker by having to stay in the wheelchair while she could walk and had feelings in her bottom, legs, and back. She would get up because she just couldn't sit there anymore and then fall. Resulting in stitches in her fore head and back of her head. The act…

We did not have a pleasant experience with the care provided to our mother. Definitely would not recommend! Highgate was not clean & the odor was horrific on the MC floor. My mom was constantly 'wet' to the point of over-flowing in her chair, bed, etc. numerous times. The staff would just 'park' everyone in the TV room (which was unbearable to be in because of the smell) Honestly it was very depressing there & we couldn't wait to move my mom out! The office staff seemed good (at 1st!) but besides that I hv nothing …

It is very unorganized, the AC and heater unit breaks all the time, the staff turns over often and the care is not great. It is hard to reach anyone on the phone due to the staff shortage. It is very hard to communicate with the facility. Our loved ones room is not cleaned as often as it should be. The laundry could be improved.

The staff is so up beat and pleasant from the sales manager, [name removed], the dining staff, [name removed] the activities coordinator, the wellness manager [name removed] and care staff. They talk to my mother even though she is very quiet and has some dementia. They are doing rehab which her last place would not do which made her wheelchair bound for a year and a half.
