The staff is friendly. However, the room she moved into had a broken fan in the bathroom before she moved in. We were told it would be fixed shortly, but it's been over a year and it still hasn't been fixed. So it is mostly damp in her room because of this.

Please be VERY wary of this community; all is not what it appears at all. There are no cameras at this facility; more cause for due diligence and concern. Be careful and think twice before placing your loved one here. I have pictures of fecal remnants and urine on my mom's toilet seat and in the bowl. It was not cleaned or flushed and I had to clean it up when I got to her room. This happened frequently. I came in to find that my mother had no access to water and the tray was pushed up against her closet door. Sh…

5 for everything, I like the Highland Place. All of the staff members from the Director, to the Nurse down, and even the chef have been welcoming, accommodating and friendly It's very family oriented there.

PositiveThe gal who was giving us the tour was great. The facility was smaller and older. The rooms were very small too. I was looking for something bigger for my loved one.

Positive[name removed] Saved the Day
[name removed] was so fantastic to assist the family in a last minute placement for my loved one. I was so impressed that April was able to jump through hoops to help my loved one and family during this stressful time. The transition from respite to a regular room was seamless, and my loved one seems to be very happy here. The staff communication with the family has been good and they keep the family updated on our loved one.
