It is a nice place and current staff is helpful. But until they get their new management in place I wouldn't recommend it. I was assured my dad would never be kicked out even if he went on Medicaid when I signed the original contract. At a meeting with Spectrum I was told there are only so many available rooms for Medicaid vouchers and if they were all filled my dad would have to leave the facility. After their 2 year private pay rules.

Highly recommended

Traditions of Hilliard is a wonderful place! The staff are very good and the food is tasty.

Traditions of Hilliard

I understand that there are things that you find in every facility but the tour was wonderful and probably the first month, then a smell started in the halls. Aides are another issue that they seem less helpful. Dining is slow. The Nurses are wonderfully helpful and pleasant and the majority of management are very friendly. Plenty of activities.

Overall would recommend

The memory care area was continually cleaned, it had a nice appearance. The staff that worked there genuinely cared about their tenants. The activities director did a great job. Everyone we had contact with in the administration section were professional and went out of their way to also speak to tenants as the past them in halls or dining areas.

Don't live here if you want meals in a reasonable time.

Terrible service. Meals often take 60 minutes to 90 minutes to be served. Previous ownership did a much better job of hiring and maintaining staff. The quality of food and portions have also decreased over the past 3 years. I do not recommend.

What we like the most about the community is the cleanliness, there are no smells. However, they could improve on the food! Yes, we would recommend Traditions of Hilliard to other families based on the experience so far.
