Holiday Edgewood Downs

Staff was wonderful. Residents warm and friendly. My problem was with the physical building. Units had halls to bedroom and bath so narrow a lot of residents had the doors removed to give a smidge more room. Kitchenette was teeny and no micro or cooktop. Laundry down the hall and only 1 washer and 1 dryer in the one I saw. Was was told the other room had 2….. There was to be work on the plumbing the next day throughout the building and I was told they need anew roof.

They have a wonderful, welcoming staff. Clean, but not spic and span. The room is newly painted and with new carpet. I would recommend this community to others.

New Life

I love Edgewood Downs. I wasn't sure if I could adjust to a studio, but it feels very spacious. Everyone here is very helpful and extremely welcoming. The food also is delicious.

The staff is so thoughtful and caring. They know everyone that lives there and they truly care. When I come in the give me updates on my mom. It's very clean, and they take care of the space. The food is delicious most of the time (some of us don't like liver and onions) and dining room service is great! The activities are fun and engaging! I really love [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed] and [name removed]! I am so grateful for them!

The site was mediocre at best. It didn't appear well maintained. The food was quite acceptable but the wait staff were barely professional. The apartments were of adequate size but were not special. We visited locations that were superior to this one I would not be proud to live there.

The tour was great and thorough, and my questions were addressed. [name removed] was warm and welcoming and all the staff was helpful. We decided this was a good fit for my brother. Seems cozy and comfortable.
