PositiveElevated independent living
The staff overall is super friendly and helpful. The activities vary so you can find something to be involved in. The place is clean and the residents themselves are nice. There are different sizes, some have a balcony and there are a few 2 bedrooms. There is not a full kitchenette. It is set up more like a wet bar. Sink and medium size fridge. There are restrictions on what appliances you can have. Have a laundry on every floor available.

PositiveThis was an awesome tour, great tour-guide, and a comfortable and welcoming environment. If my mother-in-law could be in an independent or assisted living environment, this would be the place for her. However she needs 24/7 care (assistance with medications, bathing, cooking etc.).

I would definitely recommend and forgot to mention Pinegate has a shuttle van 3 days a week. Nice grounds, too. Very nice facility. Friendly residents and staff. Food just OK.

CriticalDO NOT MOVE YOUR LOVED ONE IN HERE
I would say that they sure put on a great show of caring for people when we first met with them. I believe the manager passing away negatively affected the facility and its staff. Things we were told upon “signing up” my MIL to move in are not what they told us after she got in. They will not assist you with anything. They have “caregivers” who charge $[removed] per visit just to bring someone a meal, and we were charger more than the amount of visits my MIL had the first week she was there. I was impressed with the the amount of activities available and what Pinegate offered. While I’m simply looking to the future and compiling a list I must say the Pinegate is at the top of my list.
