I love the communication with the staff when checking in and the positive feedback and attitude of the staff I was very concerned with my moms ability to settle in but from the moment we walked in they immediately attended to her comfort and began talking with her and settling her down and letting her know she would be okay

Our loved one spends too much time in her room alone but she is stubborn about going to activities and meals and is crippled. The food is good and nutritious. There are many choices and visiting guests and artists, wish mom would go to more of the activities. We are private pay and mom requires lots of help so she's at a high level however Dad can no longer care for her 24-7. It's very expensive but it's working out. Dad visits her every day. At this time I can only base my review on the tour, for that is all I have had experience with. The facility looked clean, inviting, and cheery. I was very pleased at how hard the staff worked to get my loved one a private room. The rooms look spacious. It seemed they have lots of inhouse and courtyard freedom to walk around on their own accord. Staff and several of the residence we met or saw in passing seemed very kind and welcoming. All of the staff but 2 I have had interaction with have been so caring . Honestly care for the residents when you approach them. What I have noticed is low staff. This really is not ok for the residents. Canceled activities because of this . And activities like movie night. Well it was cartoons and obnoxious at that . no organization . And the pie social . Second hand info . No pie no tea or coffee but a cooking show on the big TV. Smh . Residents are paying [fee removed]a month they could at least buy some fruit…

PositiveJefferson Lodge review
The time that was most comforting was once Hospice was on board. There were several very special care givers on the staff who were always so caring. My husband's face would light up when they came in the room. They are the ones I like to think about and they were there right up to the end. We liked to visit during meal time when everyone was up and the good food was always served with a smile and the resident addresses by their name. They were never rushed and the staff would eat while helping those in need.
