John M Evans Supportive Living Community

We recently toured John Evans Supportive Living Community while exploring options for our parents, and we were pleasantly surprised by our experience. The community has been beautifully renovated and is clean, welcoming, and comfortable. Poor management

. Shame on this place and the so called people that run around this facility. Especially [name removed] (maybe a manager.. he would not give out his title). Me and my mother were moving our grandmother out of this facility! If you are familiar with this facility they have a bus lane and a car lane. The car lane so happens to be the one closest to the door and the bus lane is second one from the door. There so happened to be a car pulled up and PARKED no one in the car in the bus lane. Incompetent

My father needed some assistance and friends so we choose John Evens in Pekin. It seemed like a perfect fit. My father soon discovered he had terminal cancer and they said they would still take him even if he went on Hospice. He was there let then a month. He fell 5 times in less then 24 hours after a med change. They never called me. When I went to see him his room looked like a murder had occurred. He had fallen against the wall and broke a nightlight. The tines were still in the socket with masking tape to cover…

Great care for my mom

My mom has lived there for seven years now. The staff is excellent and responsive; I'd start to list them by name, but I would end up missing someone - they all really are fun, caring, great people. There are many activities, rides to local appointments, help completing paperwork, etc. The care Mom receives while she is still living independently is a blessing to me.

Outstanding Care and Comfort

I like the care at this community. The staff are caring and helpful. The community is clean and it has a great setup for the residents. I was happy to see him active with the nice activites that were offered to him. The menu was wonderful and the best variety is offered. We would highly recommend this community for the best care .

Clean Community!!

My mother is doing good at John M Evans Supportive Living. The staff is providing good care for her, they also communicate very well with the family. I would recommend the community they have good meals available and different activities for the residents to engage in. I also feel that my mother is in a safe place with good care.
