★★★★★
PositiveThe facility was adequate; staff excellent (they were very responsive). Food was ok (my dad was a very picky eater). Room size was adequate. He did not partake in any activities as he made up his mind to check out soon after moving in. He only lived there for about 2 months before passing away. Facility was an older facility, but clean. Nothing fancy. Good for budget conscious people. They would also transition to Medicaid if personal funds were exhausted after 12 months. My father was living with us prior to movin…

PositiveThere is no perfect place. Requirements need to be prioritized such that you find a place that meets 75% or more of your needs. My selection of JC was based on my father's needs. Had I been looking for a place for myself/my wife, I might have selected some other place.

PositiveThey have a hard time keeping a cook. Many kid type meals mini corn dogs, fries, chicken nuggets, sandwiches. Soggy over cook veggies. Other times meals good. PositiveWhat our family likes the most about this community is the friendly residents living there as well as the staff members. We would recommend the Junction City Retirement and Assisted Living community to other families.
★★★★★
PositiveA feeling of family. That diminished over time with staff changes. Plus management changes. It is getting better of late. Finding a good activity director has helped.

PositiveI visited Junction City Retirement & Assisted Living to look for a possible place for my grandmother to live. The staff person who guided us was very friendly, knowledgeable and understood our particular needs for Nana. The facility was a little dated, but we were told renovations would be happening soon. We liked the spaciousness of each apartment we saw and envisioned Nana calling it home. Would recommend this place for anyone looking to find a cozy place to call home.
