Nestled in a wooded setting between Bexley and Gahanna, Kensington Place is a warm and wonderful place to call home in the charming city of Columbus, Ohio. Kensington Place is a dynamic community offering independent living, assisted living, memory care, and respite care services. We’ve specialized our wide range of services to help ensure we meet the needs of all across a continuum of care. Finding a new home that provides comfort, safety, and the right care can be a challenge, but we’re here to offer our best everyday to help ensure peace of mind for residents and their families. Kensington Place is a member of the Lutheran Social Services Network of Hope — dedicated to maintaining an inviting community with professional and compassionate staff and secure and relaxing living accommodations. Upon arrival visitors will embrace our warm atmosphere, homely environment, and realize Kensington Place is simply an ideal community. Community Amenities and Services Kensington Place is distinct for it’s unique amenities and programs that enrich the lives of residents everyday. Our SeniorFit program allows residents the opportunity to stay in shape with our fully equipped fitness center, staffed with trainers who help residents develop exercise programs individualized to meet their fitness goals. We also have a chaplain who provides regular services and bible study, as well as a Jewish rabbi who leads a weekly Shabbat service. And, of course, we provide three nutritious meals daily with a variety of options and dietary restrictions in mind. Our 24-hour nursing staff provide care around the clock to help ensure residents are safe and their daily needs are met. We provide complimentary transportation to medical and dental appointments, grocery trips, and other outings, so residents can always rely on us to accommodate them for their off-site needs. Living Arrangements We currently offer studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and semi-private floor plans. All of our units feature private bedrooms and bathrooms, utility packages including basic cable and telephone, as well as emergency pull cords to notify staff of any urgent needs or concerns. Housekeeping and linen services are regularly offered, so residents never have to bother with chores and can preserve more of their time doing the things they love.
