I was satisfied with the experience (no place is perfect and that's why I gave it a 4). I would recommend them for assisted living. My recommendation to anyone searching for assisted living facilities is to definitely do research about the facilities, do their homework and check reviews, take a tour and talk to staff members, talk to other families that have residents living at a facility, and even check the food out. The staff care about the residents. The residents look after each other. The night supervisor is amazing! The activities engage the residents, even the ones that say they want to stay in their room. Good communication with families about special events. Any concern I may have had had been resolved.

Livonia Comfort review

My brother has left Livonia Comfort but we liked the place and it was clean. However there was no physical therapy or occupational therapy, but the atmosphere overall was nice. There were a lot of changes in employees which was hard.

We moved her out of there after a couple of months because they were terrible. *CONCERNS early on about low staff -no phone line for two weeks -Leave messages for [name removed] to call and they wouldn't grove them to her -Come by at 4pm and her bed would be unmade and wet from urine -They discovered her wet sheets late in the day and she had to wait to go to bed while they washed them. -bed sores -toe nail hanging off -ants -Messages not getting relayed- ear drops from the doctor- said they never received…

Our Experience

There were a few staff members who were good, but at that time they had too many duties to fill that did not pertain to their job of caring for people. My mom never had diaper rash before - here she had it all the time. She had infection, they didn't notice. No communication with medical staff. They were sketchy and did not communicate with family. They did not notice mom was not given her medication and had a cardiac event, even though she was gasping and sweating. They didn't call the ambulance even, staff ignore…
