Probably would not recommend to others. They promise some things that they just don't follow through with as far as care goes

Very accomodating

[name removed], who is the chief nurse in assisted-living is absolutely incredible. She's one of the best we've ever worked with. I will say they are the only facility that accommodated my mother-in-law with some additional medical needs that other assisted-living places would not accept. That is why I give such a rave review for[ name removed]. For assisted living, they need to do the activities in a different location within the facility They are very limited by space. What we like the most about the community is the kindness of the staff and yes we would recommend Luxe Life Senior Living at Ignite Medical Resort St Mary' to other families based on the experience so far.

Concern

I would have given this facility a 6 star, except for one important thing. There is a newly hired nurse aide who is rude and appears rushed with residents. She is abrupt, and instead of making sure a resident is settled, she leaves the room. She acts as if the residents are a bother to her, and she doesn’t appear to like her job at all. Working with elderly does not seem to be a good fit for her, and I am concerned about her attitude. The rest of the staff are caring and attentive to the residents.

Beautiful Facility

The staff here treated my dad like family all the way up until he passed. I couldn’t ask for anything more. The food was good and they have a ton of options to choose from. There are daily activities to keep residents busy throughout the day. They also have in house physical therapy. If you’re looking for an assisted living I highly recommend Ignite Medical Resort St. Mary’s.

Resident rooms could be kept cleaner. Lots of activities. Good communication. Some of the LPN med techs treat long acting insulin like a sliding scale giving it based on the latest blood sugar taken instead of as ordered. As far as the food goes - they need to add more fresh vegetables-more color. A lot of pork is served.
