Main complaint was that were some fees that seemed excessive when we had to move my mom to a long term care facility. Otherwise I would recommend it.

About the community
Exceptional memory care services and modern amenities meet in an upscale, innovative environment at Lyndale Abilene Memory Care. We are conveniently located in southern Abilene, Texas, just west of Kirby Lake. Open since 2018, our community is tucked away in a quiet area of town and is nestled amongst growing residential neighborhoods and sprawling fields. We strive to create an environment that offers peace and supports independence through a person-centered approach. We implement Sagora Pathways Memory Care Program, which focuses on services and amenities that can help residents flourish. We understand the nuances that come with caring for those with Alzheimer’s, other types of dementia, and other memory-related diseases. As your loved one’s needs change, we’re here to help. Community Services and Amenities Our dedicated, attentive staff are available 24/7 to assist residents with their non-medical care needs, and nurses are on call around the clock for general health care needs. All staff members have received specialized memory care training and take their time to truly get to know each resident as an individual to best meet their needs on a day-to-day basis. Ambulatory care, medication management, and incontinence care are amongst the vast services we provide. For residents in need of more focused medical care, our management team schedules routine visits with local specialized health care professionals. You can rest easy knowing your loved one’s health and wellness are in caring, capable hands. We’ve incorporated one of the latest models of memory care which includes a “Town Center” concept. This common area is home to all of our outstanding amenities and is designed to replicate the downtown strip of a small town. Residents can catch a classic film in the theater, get pampered in the beauty salon and barber shop, or savor a snack and drink at the bistro all without leaving their secure, familiar environment. Residents enjoy activities and programs planned to their specific needs and abilities. Chair yoga, art classes, and pet-focused programs are among some of the activities you’ll see planned on our exciting events calendar. Our culinary team prepares three delightful, nutritious meals a day that can be served restaurant-style in one of our four dining areas. Residents receive weekly housekeeping and laundry care services as well. Without the stresses of maintaining a home, residents can spend more time doing the things that bring them joy. Living Arrangements We offer several modern, spacious private and semi-private apartments to choose from. Each apartment features lovely hardwood floors, crown molding, and double pane windows with views of the surrounding landscape. Bathrooms are wheelchair accessible and equipped with additional safety features. The entire memory care community is a single floor, making it easy for residents to navigate the community. PositiveI can’t say enough good things about Lyndale Memory care. The whole staff is very caring, attentive, patient, kind supportive etc. The most important thing the residents are happy. The last place I had my friend at was horrible. We felt she was unsafe there. After taking her to Lyndale the weight and worry was lifted off our shoulders. The staff goes over and beyond in caring for the residents. I couldn’t be more pleased with them. They are outstanding and deserves a reward.
