Our families experience

I like it because it is a small facility and easy for an older person to learn. Improvement getting billing right. Quality of staff that interact with the residents.

Review for Morada Abilene

5 star rating so far. Actually it is an assisted living facility and my brother just moved in there. He has a roomy apt with kitchenette because they furnish 3 meals a day. Heard it's good. Very clean and staff friendly and down to earth.

Terrible experience

It is not merely a senior living home, contrary to the name, where older adults live together much like a regular apartment complex, as I expected. It is more like a nursing home. I am leaving after only two months here. If you are in fairly good health and cognitively all there, then you'd probably not like this environment. Have also had billing issues.

Do not recommend

Not a good place. They sent my mom on public buses for doctors appointments. They do not pick up from ER. Issues with medication and billing.. This is without a doubt the worse place my mom has been in

Review for Morada Abilene

I would NOT recommend them at all! They were nice but didn't give him his medications that were ordered. When I picked up his meds after he died there were two medications that were never given at all! That were ordered WEEKS before he died. They were still in the blister packs! NEVER given !!!

Our family had an in person tour with Morada Abilene and the tour experience was ok but the person was new and could not answer our questions. I felt like I was bothering them.
