Positive4 stars. Staff are caring and responsive. They have been helpful in securing physical therapy, and in helping me secure medical referrals, as needed. Maple Ridge has been my first experience to find assistance for my brother. My impression is very positive. Staff are friendly and responsive. Patients wear alert buttons for immediate needs. Food is good.

PositiveAll facilities have a problem with staffing. Maple Ridge is not exempt. The quality of food is good. There are times I question the choice of food for dementia patients.

PositiveIt has been easy to get to know the Executive Director, the Director of Wellness, and the Plant Operations Director. They bend over backwards to be helpful and responsive. I get instant phone calls if issues arise. As I have found elsewhere, floor staffing is strained at times, and responsiveness to my brother's beeper is not always speedy.

PositiveMy mom was not happy with the food. The people who live there were very nice and tried hard to get my mom to do stuff, but she didn't want to be there. She passed away on [date removed].

CriticalI think it was fine and at the time it was the right place for our mom. She was only there two months but in general the follow through was not the best. We were in a little bit of a rush to decide on a place. I am not sure if we would choose it again after being better educated. At the time it was the right place but as time goes on you begin to see the deficiencies.
