The Homestead offers individualized care plans coordinated by a registered nurse, with an inclusive continuum of care services available. Here, you can choose when and how to receive services and what activities and amenities you desire. Community Amenities and Services Our caregivers are specially trained and committed to providing professional-level services to residents across our continuum of care. By assisting with activities of daily living (e.g., eating, dressing, transferring, etc.), administering medications, and personalizing care plans, we help ensure that the needs of each resident are met every day. The Homestead at Maplewood also provides a memory support community in a secure, homelike setting with structured programming that emphasizes activity-focused care. As part of the Maplewood Campus, we also provide priority access to our Maplewood Care Center for long-term care and short-term rehabilitation services. Residents can also enjoy an array of activities, regularly scheduled to stimulate social and physical wellness. Care Types Offered The Homestead at Maplewood provides housing with services , which in the state of Minnesota refers to an establishment providing sleeping accommodations to one or more residents, and offering one or more regularly scheduled health-related services or two or more regularly scheduled supportive services. Health-related services include professional nursing services, home health aide tasks, or the central storage of medication for residents. Supportive services include help with personal laundry, handling or assisting with personal funds of residents, or arranging for medical services, health-related services, social services, or transportation to medical or social services appointments. This establishment may have a special care unit for residents with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
