Safe and confident they would alert advocate in an emergency

They have done renovations. It is unclear what the opportunities for activities as it is difficult to get much input from the resident when I visit a few residents are friendly. When I inquire about meals I get an okay response.

McCallum Assisted Living

McCallum Assisted Living may certainly not be the newest, shiny and modern community but it is nice and we have been very pleased with the staff. It is clean but it is just an older building. The staff are very easy to get ahold of and we do think the overall value is very acceptable and we like how close the community is in proximity. We were very impressed with the initial speed of the process and being able to find this community. Our loved one overall seems happy.

They were the only place willing to accommodate [name removed]'s mental health needs. They have been very responsive in that sense. I've only been there once, but they were an OK place.

Friendly staff and a nice community

We thought the McCallum Assisted Life community was a very nice environment for a our loved one, the building itself is very nice looking with a great tree line and nice wrap around porch. He always said the meals were very good and based on our families experience we would recommend them to other families.

The place is clean and the staff is nice. The people there seem very content and I feel confident my loved one is being cared for.

This is really a boarding home. No heat controls or alert systems in rooms. Dark and depressing. No activities to speak of. Emphasis on "independence."
