I would tell someone that communication is lacking there but everything else was wonderful. Four out of five. I really like that this is an all-inclusive place and you don't have to worry about surprise billing. Whatever level they deem is appropriate for your loved one is where they stay.

A Place for Mom found a Wonderful Place for my mom

My mom is at Meadows of Mt. Clemens (not Troy) and we give the place and its staff a very heartfelt and grateful rating of 5. They are a Godsend for my mom and my family.

Highly recommend.

5 on all except we haven't had any experience with the activities yet so I really can't rate that. Everyone is very caring. Place is super clean. I always get quick responses and they always keep you updated.

Professional and pleasant

Warm and caring staff with a tight knit community. Everyone is very attentive and was supportive throughout the whole process. I love having so much access to my relative and how nice the facility is.

Felt like home

My Dad suffers from dementia and a stroke. The team at Meadows has taken wonderful care of him. First off, this facility is SO CLEAN. I have never been in a cleaner assisted living. The staff is attentive and care for him like he is family. The occupancy is small here, so it was easy to get to know the staff and other residents. We enjoy visiting my dad and spending time there because it is so homey. Medically speaking his care including physical therapy is on point as well. We feel at ease knowing he is in good ha…

Sun Valley looked to be kept clean. The people I talked to seemed to care about their residents. They knew about who was where, and what was going on. They ended up not being the place for us for a couple of reasons. They didn't have availability at the time we were looking. And ultimately it seemed like they did not have as much staff and therefore additional features. We were looking for a larger community with more planned activities and community interaction.
