Saving grace

Mercy House helped me when no one else would give me a chance. Their service is unmatched. The facility is beautiful. The staff is amazing. I am so grateful that I ended up in the hands of Mercy House. They are truly my saving grace. Forever grateful.

our experience of a short term stay

Cleanliness seemed to vary a lot from day to day, sometimes poor, some great. Med changes did not go smoothly and his room had things go missing a lot. While I could contact the person in charge easily she poorly relayed info to staff I actually saw in person. I will say my dad was able to also almost escape the fenced outdoor area so hopefully that has been updated with name change. My husband had to climb on top of it too, to keep my dad in and get him down after we were called in a panic by staff.

My dad lived at Rocky Hollow Lake House for over two years, and our experience over the last six months was deeply disappointing. Despite my mom repeatedly asking for Dad's room and bathroom to be mopped, his bed sheets to be changed, and for him to be showered at least twice a week, these basic requests were often ignored. It was the only one available. The experience was good. I would recommend to others.

A nice community with areas of improvement, would recommend

The overall experience is far to good. The cleanliness is far, our loved one is not out of her room enough but she has had mold in the main room. The staff members help our loved one up but they will not work with [name removed]. More lack of quantity when it comes to quality of the care. Meals are ok, the activities are rare but she is brought out to the. She liked the movement to Elvis

Our family had an in person tour and at the time our loved one was not to far along in her memory loss journey so having it be a smaller community we did not think it was going to be the best fit. We still wanted an upbeat stimulating environment for her, however the staff were wonderful and a great place to consider.
