PositiveThe thing I like the most at Merrill Gardens (besides not having to cook or clean) is the atmosphere..it felt good the day my daughter and I visited and it still feels the same now that I’m living here.. everyone has a smile and a hello and seem to be happy…I’ve felt welcomed by staff and residents alike..only 2 complaints… my TV hasn’t worked for over a week now and I miss it! PositiveThe staff are amazing. They have been extremely responsive to all of our needs and concerns. Every place could use a full time doctor and 3 nurses that are "hospice care" level humans. CriticalMy dad suffered a stroke 20 days in and was dehydrated although I was paying for them to take him to the dining room I don't believe they were. He had indents on his knees for being on the floor so long and took hours to call the hospital or myself to get a report thus they didn't do the stoke protocol due to the delay in reporting.
