I would give them 5 stars. The staff is great, the food is perfect for my sister, and the activities are numerous.

Lovely assisted living community

The entire entrance process was straightforward and efficient. My mom was able to move into her spacious, one bedroom apartment within one month of completing paperwork. There are a variety of activities from crafting and karaoke to social hour and visits with Otis the therapy dog. My mom has found numerous activities that are enjoyable. [Name Removed] and the staff are kind and helpful. [Name removed] was so accommodating, I was able to tour the facility prior to my mom’s tour. The residents and staff are friendly. There are so many amenities from daily activities that can keep an individual as busy as they choose, to so many different public spaces (dining room, theater, library, pub, bistro lounge, outdoor patios and the list goes on). So happy and relieved to find a place for my mom to live and thrive.

Field trips

I am a local high school teacher/ club advisor. We visit Mira Vie once a marking period and spend time with the residents. We hand out, make a craft, paint nails, and plant flowers with the residents. Everything is also clean, the staff is always friendly, and the residents are absolutely amazing. When I email the "Activities Manager", she replies right away to schedule events! It is a pleasure to work with her.

New ownership made it Not a good place for Mom

We moved Mom into [community removed], where she was very happy and well cared for. Distinctive living bought Chelsea and changed it to Mira Vie. The problems began shortly after they took over. Unfortunately they did not take into consideration this was a memory care facility not Senior Living. Complaints about how nasty and greasy the food was, scrambled eggs were greasy and nasty, her Ginger Ale, when available tasted watered down.
