Riverwalk Village at The House of the Good Shepherd

We were lucky to have such a warm and caring staff help us through my father's hospice care

The night staff that I interacted with every night while my father was in hospice care were absolutely wonderful. They were not only careful and sweet to my father, but they were very kind to me and my mother as well. I'll never forget their kindness for as long as I live.

Overall everything was easy breezy! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Very nice apartment and residents are wonderful. Riverwalk is in a beautiful setting and conveniently located close to Hackettstown, shopping and doctors.

Our family had an in person tour and even though the receptionist was very nice and helpful, we were not all that happy. It seemed more like a nursing home more than assisted living. it seemed dreary, no really activity going on and not a lot of staff around.

This community was fantastic I would have gone with this community but they did not have any openings at the time.
