Our experience

The staff are great, activities good, food is good and adequate. The facilities are clean. The only things I have noticed is 1. When we were moving her in I noticed that the Inspection certificate for the elevator was expired. And the last time I went to her apartment which was a couple weeks ago it was still expired. Also it's hard to understand why the 1st floor and 2nd floor get access to wi-Fi/internet, but on the 3rd floor there isn't any and residents have to purchase their own. Very impressed with the operation of the facility. Management staff were very attentive to the needs of residents. Food was good Campus was immaculate. The location was convenient to shopping centers.

Monarch is my home and the residents and staff are my family.

I will have lived here almost 6 years. I wouldn't move to another retirement community because of my friends and family here. I'm happy. Quality living

They have made my brothers (The [name removed] Brothers) a home where they have a life and are happy. That gives me peace of mind. I know they are protected, fed, encouraged, entertained, and loved, all things that I wanted for them.

All I hoped for

My initial encounter with the staff at Monarch Estates was positive. They were prepared for my visit and gave us an unhurried tour. I was pleased to find the size apartment we wanted on the first floor near the dining room that had a back door that opened to the spacious lawn and walking trail. I can't comment on the food or activities because I do not live in the area, but my brother tells me he is quite content there. I have no complaints.

Would recommend

My mom likes the landscaping the most. I like the friendly residents. Possible improvements- my mom said she doesn't like to criticize... I'll say the meals could be a bit more healthy and tasty.
