PositiveIt's tough time to talk with your dad about changing his lifestyle and getting him on board with it . Especially when they're an independent person that life has always been their way or the highway lol! But we love dad and we want to take care of him the best we can, and A Place for Mom was always there for me. They listened to me and helped me look at different locations and get in touch with people that could help me and my siblings make the best decision for Dad. I think I probably started talking with them 10 …

PositiveThe daily staff was very good with my mom and they seem to have very little turnover, which is usually a good sign. They were friendly and attentive to her. We did get extra help from HOSPICE last six months which made it better for my mom. The only really bad thing that happened was when a lady in a motorized wheelchair ran into the table where my mom was sitting in the lunchroom. She turned over in her wheelchair and hit her head. Went to ER but no serious head injury thanks to the good Lord. Really, the motori…

PositiveFood is better but was awful in previous months. Don't know about activities because mother does not participate. It's high rent. I really don't think it's worth 3,144 per month. There is a lot of turnover in the staff. That is the main issue.

PositiveMy loved one is currently a resident of Morada Burleson and the experience has been good overall so far. The staff, housekeeping, and office personnel are good. Just the chef/cook is the problem. The food at this facility is horrible. My loved one is wanting to order takeout/delivery from outside restaurants again like she did before moving here. Other than the food, my mom is pleased with Morada Burleson overall.

PositiveMorada Burleson staff were wonderful during our tour experience. They would be able to give Mom the medical attention she needed as they are quite small which was a real plus. The building was a bit outdated. I did not like the location on such a busy street.

PositiveI rate everything at a 5 except for the food, my mother complains about the food. They have a new chef coming. They do have activities. They also wash and make her bed and do very light cleaning, it meets her needs. Yes, I would recommend to others. She's settling in and making some friends.
