I have visited my sister daily in the memory care unit for 19 days at varying times of each the day. She is confined to her bed now. I have been impressed with the care, attention, and patience all the staff brings to a variety of situations that have come up, especially tending to all the bedding changes. Very Disappointing and Stressful!!

Change Management, hire polite employees, perform the services that the client is paying for. My husband's bedsheets and towels were changed once in 6 weeks. Certain staff members on the medical team were not nice at all. The marketing director lied to me about several policies. The account lady was obnoxious. The whole experience was very stressful. I can't believe Morning Star is a Christian based organization. I would never recommend them.

Cleanliness - I have found a lot of abandon in my aunt and uncle's personal space Activities- my aunt and uncle do not participate so I really can't comment Food - I think it's really slipping, especially compared to previous facility Quality of care - I felt that I had to out them on hospice in order to get the care that they needed I have no choice but to leave them at Morning Star because that's the only place in town that has little apartments for two. Jeri, by your reference to an aunt and uncle, we believe you’re the author of this review. Identifying the family is so important if we are to understand the situation and address matters properly. Your remarks leave us in a bit of quandary. Our Executive Director and Care Coordinator had hoped recent conversations allayed some of your concerns. We are proud of our culinary program, both in its restaurant quality and variety of offerings during all-day dining. The Life Enrichment team regularly invited the couple to our events; participation was their choice, of course. Please continue to speak with Ashley by calling the community; she is eager to see your opinions change.

Great staff and fall detection

Caring and compassionate staff. I have been and experienced only high quality care of residents. My friend fell when trying to sit down in his apartment, within a minute or two a staff member came to the room to check on his fall and ensure he was not injured or in need of help.

Do Better Morning Star!!!

Management does not communicate with staff very well. Common areas are clean but rooms are dirty and stuffy. Bathrooms are not cleaned well and complaints are ignored. Staff is so friendly, but the quality of care varies. They don't remind mom to take her teeth out. They let her go days and days without washing her hair. She wears the same clothes for more than one day and I think she's sleeping in them. Food is not good. I think it's better in the non- memory care areas. Administration staff - the sales lady and t…

My spouse has been here for 5 months. I am pleased with his care and monitoring of his health. Staff is loving/great, the facilities are kept up to date and clean. I would recommend Morningstar to other without hesitation.
