Norgard Court Apartments is a beautiful market rate independent senior living facility, centrally located in Maplewood, Minnesota. We are within walking distance to shopping and city parks. Our warm, home-like community offers one and two-bedroom units. Our two bedrooms feature two bathrooms. Each unit has its own washer and dryer and includes a complimentary 5'x7' storage area. Resident gardens are available, for those who are interested. We promote gatherings and offer various optional socialization opportunities for tenants. Heat, water, sewer and trash are included. Heated underground parking is available.

We have a new manager, [name removed], who has made definite improvements. Activities are put on by the residents and they do a wonderful job with both food and games, etc. Both indoor and outdoor maintenance remains good. Our Janitor has taken over (included) the outdoor maintenance, so we will have to see if his duties with the added responsibility remains on the plus side.

The reason is I am not used to apartment living. I've never lived in an apartment before. This is going to take some time for me to adjust. We have a staff Manager, [name removed] , that comes once a week. She has been very helpful. The activities and Holiday lunches have been well attended by the tenants. The complex itself is well maintained; both indoors and outdoors. My apartment is, of course, smaller than my 2 bedroom single family home I previously had. It is much easier to care for!!
