PositiveOakley Courts is a great place. My bother seems pleased with everyone and all things. Only complaint is he doesn't like the food choices some meals but it's with his diabetes. I would rate it a 5. Cost wise seems reasonable. The place is very clean. Staff is friendly.

PositiveI recently visited my sister and find her apartment very nice and the staff friendly. They recently have a new chef and she is interested in the residents opinion and found the food appealing. I find the elderly hard to deal with so each have their own opinions whether it be nice or not.

PositiveThings that I like about Oakley Courts Assisted Living in Freeport, IL for my loved one are: The grounds around the facility are kept beautiful, there’s a large patio with plenty of chairs for residents to enjoy the outdoors, a beautician on-site for a fraction of the cost, chair exercise offered in the mornings, three meals a day, managed medications administered by a nurse, activities and some entertainment, nice comfortable rooms with kitchenette/living space, bedroom, large walk in closet and bathroom. PositiveThe staff are very nice to my loved one. I'm very happy about the care my loved one is receiving. There are lots of activities for the residents to participate in. My concern is the food as my loved one has gained weight. I wish the community would be able to assist with better dietary restrictions for low salt and sugar.

PositiveEvery time I am able to visit the community has always been very pleasant. Our loved one always raves about the meals and dining service and says how much she loves them. She also mentions how much she enjoys the activities, and that there is always something going on. We would recommend this community to others.
