This independent living place is very nice. We are just starting the process. This place seems to be a place would meet our needs.

Kind, Clean, Friendly

I stayed with my other for a couple nights at Oakwood Hills and was really impressed with the staff and the facility itself. Everyone I encountered was friendly and welcoming - from the caregivers working in the embedded home care agency to the wonderful dining staff who knew my mother (and her favorite type of tea) by name. Overall Facility and Resource

This location has been an excellent resource for facilities and Staff from the director throughout every single staff member. Each went beyond any normal service regardless of the request.

would not recommend

When she moved in (under the old management), I would have rated it as a strong 4-5. Under the current management, a 1, maybe 2. I did appreciate that they had a Bible study - it's the first one she had been willing to go to in decades, and I believe it was a benefit to her. The food was truly awful - she was physically ill multiple times a week from it and when I talked with them about it, they said there was nothing they could do. Great place!

Staff has been great, storage is limited, food is super. I've only been here for 4 days so haven't gotten too involved, but everyone is friendly and a variety of activities.
