ALL STAFF IS EXTRAORDINARILY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. I WOULD REQUEST THAT HEALTHIER FOOD BE PROVIDED, AND THAT CARROT STICKS AND CELERY STICKS BE PROVIDED IN THE CHEF CORNER. i WOULD LIKE TO SEE BENCHES AROUND THE BUILDING TO ENCOURAGE WALKING FOR THOSE WHO NEED A REST.

We are very happy living in Okatie Pines as the staff is very helpful and accomodating. They serve three meals a day and if there isn't anything on the menu you want, you can order a hamburger, cheeseburger, or pizza just as you want it prepared. There are many activities available so a person shouldn't get bored. In our opinion, there isn't any better place to live than Okatie Pines.

I feel very safe at Okatie Pines as the Managers live onsite and there is a concierge on duty 24 hours. They and the other staff (kitchen, dining room, activities, maintenance and housekeepers) are friendly and helpful and make every effort to get to know the residents. Okatie Pines has many amenities included in the monthly rent: TV, telephone, internet, washer/dryer, full kitchen, weekly housekeeping, maintenance, three meals daily and transportation services. I am happy and satisfied to be here. It is quiet. We all have name badges which helps promote conversation with others. Our apartment is cleaned every week. There is a limited choice of foods on the daily menu, which I always find adequate. The employees are very friendly and the name badges make relationships easy. There is a maintenance service on staff which takes care of physical problems as they occur. I think I have covered the subject.

I have lived here since it opened and have found it to be a great place to live. The food is fine and they offer options and lots of extras. Everything is included in the price per month, like tv , computer, regular phone and replacement of anything that dies, like refrigerators, stoves, washers,etc. Your apartment is cleaned every week. There are lots of activities as well. They have lots of communities across the country and you can stay at any one if you are traveling around for free.

My dad and brother have been at OKP for 3 years. Food is good and has variety. There are lots of special celebration meals for holidays and birthdays. Everyone is friendly. There are planned activities you can participate in if you want to.
