Overland Park Place

I was impressed by Overland Park Place…so much so that I plan to be moving there soon. It was clean, attractive and seemed like a happy spot. My mother was a resident there 20 years ago, and I recall visiting her there quite a lot, and we had fun times. Their food was good, and it actually seems to have improved. I think I’ll enjoy living there!

Our family's experience

I love that my mom is provided meals and all the social opportunities. It provides safety without taking away independence. There are opportunities for her to get out every week and to make new friends and have new experiences although she no longer drives.

Building was nice and staff was friendly & knowledgeable. Room sizes were adequate. Dining room was very nice. I only wish there was a nice outdoor space

Overland Park Place

There is value in all of the services and everyone is nice. They leverage many support staff with disabilities which is nice but makes communication a struggle at times. The cleaning staff don't seem invested in the attention to detail as desired but is still a benefit to living there.

I really love this place as a possibly for my mom. It is definitely at the top as a choice. Im still doing tours

I don't feel that they were completely honest during the tour

While my mother has enjoyed living here. I do feel that we were mislead during the tour about certain things. Interim Healthcare that they claim is their in house healthcare provider [name removed] LPN, never once returned a phone call in over 2 months to set my mother up for additional care, and their onsite office never had anyone there, I tried different days and times, and literally nobody was ever there. This was one of the main features that drew us to this property, as the Director [name removed] stated "car…
