PositiveThis was the first place we toured. It looks very nice. Staff was friendly. I don’t have anything to compare it with, so can’t really comment more.

Critical1. Difficult to give one number-some days 4/5. Some 1/2. Really depends who is working and if properly staffed. I'll give a "3" based on that. 2. On days when janitor is on floor-looks and smells great, other days. "3" 3. "4"4. Quality of care varies with Staff. Some days terrible, some excellent. Need to train all employees to work to same standards. "3"-"4" 5. Admin-"4" 6. Food-needs improvement..."3" 7. Activities-good..more variety appreciated. "4" 8. Value for money..not so good. Pay a lot of money-need…

PositiveOur decision was based primarily on location. I think the recent ownership change has brought about some issues which contributed to the lower score in some of the categories. There are one or two maintenance items in Mom's room which have needed addressed for some time. They seem to be struggling with finding a full-time chef and activities coordinator. Mom struggles with boredom. You can only play so much Bingo...lol! The administrative and care staff are excellent.

PositiveWell mom left there n is at [community removed] now since april. While she was at overlook we were happy. Everyone was nice. The only drawback was the parent company 5 star got bought out by discovery management. Prices increased and had to really watch the bills because new system and money going to old company vs new. Got it straightened out but took a lil while. I had planned on her being there a couple years but sadly it only ended up being half a year. Despite that id rate them a 5. I really liked all of them.

PositiveTruthfully a 5. Very happy i found this facility. Id HIGHLY recommend it to anyone. And i have. All primarily on 1 floor. A lot of parking. Very nice outside as well with many deer walking about. Everyone I've dealt with has been very nice and my mom likes it. So its a win win.

PositiveI'm very satisfied with the care my husband receives at Overlook Green. The staff are kind, competent, and supportive. I know my husband, who is a fall risk, is monitored frequently. His condition has improved since entering Overlook in [date removed]. At that time, he required a high level of assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. He could not rise from bed or a chair without help and was no longer ambulatory. With physical therapy, Aricept, and aid from staff, he regained the ability to walk …
