PositiveOur experience with Park Creek Place
I would consider all a 5, staffing on the weekends has improved lately, but previously short handed on the weekends and so some advertised activities were not held. I think Park Creek is a good value for the money, the Administrator of the Memory Care is kind and enthusiastic, has taken my Mom on road trips and held parties for each holiday. My mom has a nice sized corner single apartment that has lots of light, her place is always kept clean, she's well dressed whenever I see her, they keep her clean and fresh

The facility and mom's room cleanliness are 5 stars though. Food isn't always the most appetizing though I understand there is a new food director. I put away her CPAP as it wasn't being utilized at bedtime as prescribed. There is a distinct lack of communication between staff and families. Perhaps with administration changes a quarterly care plan meeting might be something to enhance care. [name removed] is most helpful and responsive.

The staff are very engaging and caring with the residents. In particular, Wendy and T stand out as exceptionally supportive and compassionate. We’ve found the entire team to be both attentive and kind, and they keep us well informed. Our dad’s transition to Park Place has exceeded our expectations.

Oh and Artis was not ok as well. They don't have the knowledge on how to deal with dementia patients. They only want to deal with easy cases. They too will send your family to the hospital to get evaluated and put on something .A lot of hidden fees and they don't stay consistent with their prices. Park Place doesn't have surprise charges nor do they send your family out to psych wards and get drugged up. They're more Hands-On. The only downfall maybe I would say is not enough staff but the staff that was there was …

My brother has done very good here. [name removed]is the manager of the memory care and she is wonderful. She cares about the patients and their families. I think the same staff seem very committed to the patients and try to stay in tuned with them which is great.
