PositiveAll the communities that your agency referred us to were very nice. We narrowed the choice down to two...Park View Place and the Regency Grand. Both are beautiful, clean, residents seemed genuinely happy, staff are nice, amenities such as classes, salon etc are in abundance. What set Park View Place apart was truly the apartment that became available to us. Overall experience is a 2.5. Caretakers need more training although they tried. Always felt short staffed. Physical arrangement of rooms left my husband isolated in his room, didn't check on him more than once or twice a day. I was often the person who changed him and his bedding. Administrative staff very business like. Food was ok. Not much variety, did not post menus but caretakers tried to keep him happy. Activities improved over time but again, somewhat limited. The dining facilities are top notch but the food needed some more variety as my parents got a little tired of the same menu. I felt there could be a few more activities for men. It was a palace and my parents enjoyed living there. It is a great place to live if you are somewhat independent.
