Very friendly people, good communication, they have handled things that come up like repairs really well. Parkwood has been a good experience for my dad. He's been there since October last year.

The ease of moving in...very accommodating. Staff making sure he had what he needed to get started and daily. All staff very friendly and personable. Every time I have gone to visit very clean. Food is good as well with a variety of choices. We ran into some health insurance issues and staff helpful with finding doctors and making needed med changes.

The place is beautiful and everyone that works there goes above and beyond. I think the apartments were good size. My mom had a one bedroom apartment. Nice kitchen and a really good size bedroom and bathroom. Housekeeping comes once a week and cleans the apartment.

Honestly I would rate all of those categories a 5. Quality of care is really N/A as my father is in independent living but our entire experience at Parkwood has been great. Parkwood was the ideal place for us - we looked at a number of other communities and it was the one that felt right for my dad from the start.

[name removed] was our only contact when we researched the facility. She was very helpful and is a very nice person that tried to help in any way possible. I'm not sure if they are fully staffed for maintenance but it can sometimes take a while to get someone to look at or resolve a problem. Common elsewhere I'm sure. [name removed] is the Director of Sales and Marketing.

PositiveParkwood Heights. Perfect place for me at this time. Caring staff, friendly residents, lovely campus. There are varieties of living space types from 1 to 2 bedroom villas with garage and studio and 1 bedroom apartments, all nicely finished.
