PositiveThe staff was superb and professional for our tour. The facility is the nicest one we’ve seen and feels like a high end resort. I think living near MSU would be especially nice due to the liveliness of the area.

1) environment is very nice, the decor etc. wide hallways, granite countertops.. 2) staff is very kind and helpful - they are not perfect, and sometimes they are short staffed. The staff knows everybody's name, what they eat etc. 3) lots of activities each day 4) daily happy hour at the bar - well attended My Mom doesn't have any real medical issues, so if that is the case where more medical type attention is needed, it may not be right for them. Mom wasn't there long enough to enjoy much activities, although what I saw looked great 5 as well, lastly. A 4 as this facility is fairly expensive compared to other facilities She fell so in love with Red Cedar her first thoughts were to sell the house and go native to the Red Cedar!

While the facility presents like a high end hotel, that is a deceptive facade. When relative moved in food was very good, but as management changed (often) records were lost, policies changed and communication with outside family members was negligible. Caregivers were (mostly) excellent and caring, but stretched thin. Finally removed the family member to an alternate location that was smaller and better managed.
