The director could be a better listener, and there were some internal communication issues that caused us to lose the apartment we wanted for mom. Day to day admin staff and care staff are wonderful. Mom loves the food. Family isn't allowed to eat even for purchase, which is disappointing. Mom hasn't broken into any of the groups. They could do more to get new residents connected with other residents.

My mom was a resident at Deer Creek Memory Care and recently passed away. The staff went above and beyond to make sure all her needs were met. They treated her like she was one of their family. I can’t say enough great things about the care she received. We also worked with the supervising nurse [name removed] She was such a lifeline for my mother.

The place is very clean and homey. My sister's apartment is a nice size. I was there at lunch and my sister's meal seemed good. I did not see any activities. Most of the residents were watching TV. The one person assigned to her care that day, seemed helpful. My brother-in-law is concerned about my sister not being taken to the bathroom enough or being changed when she has an accident.

PositiveHas lived up to my expectations
Every staff member has been exceedingly welcoming and kind. They have especially offered reassurance and acknowledgement of my transition from caregiver back to being a wife and have readily coordinated my husband’s care with his many physicians. There is constant interaction with all the Residents and every staff member helps wherever needed.
