Heritage at Augsburg (Independent Living) is a friendly, authentic senior living community. The grounds are expansive and well maintained. The Village Center setting for the Bistro and activities is open and sunny. The monthly calendar is packed with daily activities and regional excursions. The always-busy staff always have a minute for a smile, encouraging words, and a solution to the wide range of questions that stand before their desk. Choosing place for mom is a good idea for a person looking for independent living choice. I have been at heritage of Augsburg for 6 months now. And have had the experience with the independent living leaders, concierge team bistro, staff and maintenance team. I also attended the resident association meeting and learned that we are facing a quality of service issue. Building maintenance road repair, take long to process. Independent leaders are doing more than their job capacity. I would recommend to others.

The facility has many amenities including a restaurant with meals included in the price for some apartments. They also have a movie room, library, and place to get a haircut on site. The other residents are very friendly. The staff is extremely attentive when you are initially moving in. They are slightly less so once you're moved in but still responsive if you want something done. Overall, I am so grateful A Place for Mom helped me find Heritage at Augsburg.
