PositiveI've made friends to play cards with. Yes, we would recommend the community to other families.

PositiveIt has everything you would ever need there at Ridgecrest. Great Healthcare. They are under staffed in the kitchen right now but have an excellent chef. They are in need of a new assistant Director who quit this week.

CriticalThe first facility director, while very friendly, was in over his head and borderline incompetent. The current director is more organized and seems to be getting things running smoothly. The kitchen/cafeteria is up and down, depending on the day and the meal. It also has gone through some changes. Initially it was great! Great staff, great food. The head chef moved on and it hasn't been the same since. All of the nurses seem to be very helpful and friendly. They make sure my dad gets his meds and no complaints ther…

PositiveThe staff are caring and absolutely great at caring for my Mom and communicating with me. I cannot say enough about the staff. After touring many facilities and having my mother reside in another one prior to Ridgecrest I am fairly knowledgeable about what to look for in a facility. The care staff have been employed there for numerous years which tells me there is low turnover; nice place to work and good company ownership. Everyone is nice and honestly cares about the residents.

CriticalSecurity is a major concern, there was never any paperwork on file about my Mom, my Mom loves to sing and the activity director would not allow her to sing, many residents complained about the food. I will never recommend Ridgecrest to anyone!
