Riverbend was informative and receptive. But it's been a very trying experience with my sister. I'd give the overall experience a 3. Riverbend is well staffed and seem to be very caring.

It was a terrible experience for my mother. I think if she would have stayed there one more week, she would have died. The quality of care was atrocious! Stay away from this facility!

The administration staff communication could be improved. The cost was good . We ended up having her closer to home . Riverbend was a bit far to drive and see her often. Yes we liked the facility but contact and getting information definitely needs improvement

What they could improve on would be communication, quality of care specifically regarding regular changing of diapers, hydration, clean furniture that is not urine soaked and safety issues with falls out of bed and falls in general.

The place is very clean and people are nice. But my mom said the food isn't as good since the old cook left. Hey also arent as attentive as we were first told. My mom is shy she needs to be coaxed into going to activities. She cant see well, but she would like the church services.

My father chose to make this move after mom passed away, care of the home etc was too much for him on his own. My father was and is a very independent minded individual.
