Review for Sarabella Senior Living

I looked at quite a few places with my husband that had independent living. My cousin, who is close by for my mom decided she wanted my mom really close to her in distance. My cousin found the 3 closest places to her. One was Sarabella. My mom really likes the food at Sarabella. The staff and residents are all very friendly. Beautiful modern facility, lower costs, lots of activities exercise opportunities, residents commensurate with my friend's physical status, worship/Bible study, large outside garden, lots of support on sliding fee scale. Excellent! everyone involved was very pleased.

not a place for mom

Our mom lived at SaraBella for 8 months. Staffing was a revolving door: at least 7 nurses, 5 activities directors, and a perpetual turnover among aides/med techs. We often encountered residents unattended; on many visits, our mother was sitting in wet and/or soiled clothing. Staff were often on phones: cell phone policy appeared unenforced. Apartment size is perfect! We're in a LARGE one bedroom. Staff is absolutely amazing!! We've never had a single interaction with a staff member that wasn't STELLAR! We'd recommend Sarabella to everyone! We chose Sarabella, as opposed to the larger options we saw because it was a much "homier" environment and EVERYONE was (and still is, after 5 months!) so pleasant!! We don't have a single regret!

Residents seemed very happy. Very clean and beautiful facility. I visited twice and the staff and the management were very informative and actually understood my concerns regarding the need to get my brother closer to family.

Very impressed with the facility as well as with the staff, and I feel it would fit my needs whenever I am ready to move on.
